After Lawrence Weiner, 2014

Giclee Print on Hahnemuhle Pearl

After Lawrence Weiner presents a tangle of language: the work is comprised of the removed vinyl from the lightbox outside the South London Gallery, which hosted the exhibition ‘Lawrence Weiner: All In Due Course’ from 26 September to the 23 November, 2014. The vinyl was picked up by chance as it was being removed in the days after the exhibition finished. The work exists as a residue of a work that is always an idea, tied to its potential to be or not be materialised.

Between Shows, 2017

Giclee Print on Hahnemuhle Pearl

Between Shows presents a second word salad: this work is also made of removed vinyl from the lightbox outside the South London Gallery, this time using placeholder text used by the gallery, which states the name of the gallery in a saturated red.

This work was produced in an edition of 18 as part of the first edition of Swap Editions, a project set up to construct a non-monetary platform for artists.
